About the Role:
We are seeking a confident and proactive Psychology Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant in our Haringey primary and SEND schools. As a specialist teaching assistant, you will work with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis during the school day, providing support and guidance to help them overcome their behavioral and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis, providing individualized support and guidance
- Collaborate with the school's SENCO and senior management team to develop and implement support plans
- Work with outside agencies, including therapists and healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive support to pupils
- Provide support and guidance to pupils in the classroom, during specialist mentoring sessions, and during break times
Requirements:
- Psychology Graduate degree
- Experience in CAMHS or child mental health services
- Passion for supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs
