We are a dynamic and growing organization in the Health and Social Care sector, committed to delivering high-quality care and support services. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Practitioner in Aberdeen.

The Role

As a Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of Support Practitioners, providing support, guidance, and mentorship to ensure they deliver first-class care and support. You will work closely with our Service Lead to ensure our services are running within agreed budgets and meet contractual requirements.

The Team

You will lead a team of dedicated Support Practitioners who provide support to individuals with different levels of support needs. The team is dynamic and every day is different, requiring a high level of organization and communication skills.

About You

  • You will have knowledge of what it takes to run an effective service within the Health and Social Care sector.
  • You will have a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centered care and support.
  • You will have sound knowledge of SSSC Codes of Practice and Health and Social Care Standards.
  • You will have a proven record of building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with supported individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • You will have the ability to lead others and work collaboratively.
  • You will have great communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You will have a sound understanding of professional boundaries, accountabilities, and responsibilities and how they relate to supporting vulnerable individuals.
  • You will be committed to undertaking and achieving a SVQ Social Services & Healthcare Level 7 qualification and PDA in Health & Social Care Supervision (if not already attained).
