We are a dynamic and growing organization in the Health and Social Care sector, committed to delivering high-quality care and support services. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Practitioner in Aberdeen.

The Role

As a Lead Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of Support Practitioners, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they deliver exceptional care and support. You will work closely with our Service Lead to ensure our services are running within agreed budgets and meet contractual requirements.

The Team

You will lead a team of dedicated Support Practitioners who provide support to individuals with varying levels of support needs. The team is dynamic and fast-paced, with every day presenting new challenges and opportunities.

About You

  • You will have a strong understanding of what it takes to run an effective service in the Health and Social Care sector.
  • You will have a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centered care and support.
  • You will have sound knowledge of SSSC Codes of Practice and Health and Social Care Standards.
  • You will have a proven track record of building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with supported individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • You will have the ability to lead others and work collaboratively.
  • You will have great communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You will have a sound understanding of professional boundaries, accountabilities, and responsibilities and how they relate to supporting vulnerable individuals.
  • You will be committed to undertaking and achieving a SVQ Social Services & Healthcare Level 7 qualification and PDA in Health & Social Care Supervision (if not already attained).
