About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Agent to join our Infrastructure team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects, working closely with our clients, designers, and supply chain partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and supply chain partners to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including CDM and NEC.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and the environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Ensure the effective management of project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of construction professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
  • Knowledge of CDM and NEC, with the ability to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and the environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project issues and concerns.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
