About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Agent to join our Infrastructure team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects, working closely with our clients, designers, and supply chain partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the project team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, and supply chain partners, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the project delivery.
  • Ensure that all project activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety, environmental, and quality management.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with the project, working closely with the Risk Manager and SPM to ensure that all necessary steps are taken to minimize potential risks.
  • Develop and implement effective project management plans, ensuring that all project activities are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may impact the project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure that all commercial processes are followed, and that best value is achieved in all procurement activities.
  • Ensure that all pre-commencement and regulatory requirements are discharged prior to work commencing, and that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
  • Plan and prepare for the delivery of the scheme throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and that all project activities are carried out in accordance with the project plan.
  • Manage the Construction Teams and Supply Chain partners to ensure delivery of the Scheme (or Section) in line with the agreed Budget, Programme and Scope.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in successfully managing teams and contributing to their professional development.
  • Strong project management capabilities, able to showcase a track record of delivering to client expectations.
  • Well-developed communication skills, with experience dealing with clients and supply chain.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM and NEC.
  • Excellent leadership and delegation skills.
  • Design and Build / ECI experience within infrastructure.
