Position Overview:
DOF Subsea Atlantic is in search of a dedicated Subsea Field Engineer to contribute to the execution of subsea projects aboard our Construction Support Vessels (CSVs). This role entails full-time deployment on the vessel, operating on a rotational schedule of up to 6 weeks on and off. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in offshore subsea construction, decommissioning, or Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance (IRM) projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of vessel capabilities and constraints.
  • Enhance and develop operational processes and documentation to facilitate project execution.
  • Coordinate information requests from onshore teams to the appropriate departments on the CSV.
  • Participate in constructability assessments, Hazard Identification Risk Assessments (HIRA), and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP).
  • Assist with mobilization and demobilization activities.
  • Support the execution of offshore projects, including task planning and equipment readiness.
  • Conduct engineering evaluations during change management processes.
  • Promote Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (QHSES) standards on board the CSV.
Qualifications:
Experience:
  • Proven experience in procedure development and review for subsea project delivery.
  • Prior offshore experience on Construction Support Vessels (CSV) or Diving Support Vessels (DSV) in a project or field engineering capacity.
  • Experience with the mobilization and demobilization of offshore construction vessels.
