About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in North East Essex. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological services to children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.
  • Work in partnership with schools to support children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.
  • Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff members.
  • Participate in audit, quality improvement, research, and service evaluation activities.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
  • Experience in specialist assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.
  • Ability to work in partnership with schools and other agencies to deliver high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
