Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the development of our ADHD service and working closely with the NE Essex Autism Service.

The successful candidate will have excellent clinical leadership and service development skills, with the ability to provide consultation to other professional and non-professional groups. They will also have experience of working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct complex specialist assessments and provide integrated interventions for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Develop and implement group-based interventions for individuals with anxiety, low mood, and executive functioning difficulties.
  • Provide consultation to other professional and non-professional groups on neurodevelopmental disorders and conditions.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology as accredited by the BPS or equivalent.
  • Highly developed skills of communication and manipulation of psychological test equipment.
  • Experience of working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and conditions.
