About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Body Structures to join our highly skilled and dynamic Engineering team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Oxford or the Midlands, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key member of the Body engineering management team
  • Responsible for the consistent and co-ordinated delivery of Body Structures – Technical & Program
  • Manage the functional and vehicle budgets
  • Responsible for the creation of key work packages and task-based delivery for Body Structures & the cross-functional team
  • Manage and execute the delivery of work packages & tasks of external resources
  • Build and manage a team of engineers
Requirements
  • Experience of Body Structures – Casting, Pressing, BIW, Steel & Aluminum Body's, Composites R&D, Joining methods
  • Program or Project Management experience or training
  • Vehicle delivery concept to production
  • Supplier and/or External Partner Management
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
  • Willing to learn and adaptable to change
  • Team management experience preferable
