Transport Compliance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Compliance Manager to join our team at Smartsearch Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our mixed fleet, including HGVs, truck loader cranes, and waste management tankers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with depots throughout the region to ensure vehicles are maintained in line with Operator Licence undertakings and supplier agreements.
  • Complete weekly compliance and KPI reports to highlight performance trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage day-to-day planning and operations of the region, including trusted haulage partners.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and EU legislation in all aspects of fleet and driver management.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar Transport Compliance Manager role.
  • Up-to-date Transport Manager CPC.
  • Experience of UK and EU legislation in all aspects of fleet and driver management and compliance.
  • Possess influencing skills, a commitment to compliance, and a customer-focused mindset with business acumen.
