The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our company adheres to essential regulatory requirements set by CQC, Fire Services, Local Authorities, and our Internal Quality Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an effective program of internal checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support existing Maintenance Operatives in managing their compliance duties and provide training on periodic checks.
  • Establish solid internal controls to ensure all checks are completed on time and regularly review and update internal checks as necessary.
  • Proactively audit our practices, processes, and documentation to identify areas for improvement and liaise with external auditors, Estates, and Quality Teams to maintain high compliance standards.
  • Develop and implement crisis or compliance violation management plans and provide staff education and training on current regulations and best industry practices.

  • Fire alarms (testing)
  • Fire doors (condition and functionality)
  • Fire escape routes (safe egress)
  • Water temperatures
  • Lighting (condition and functionality)
  • Wheelchairs, mobile hoists, and beds (condition and functionality)
