About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Property Manager to join our team at Spicerhaart in Leicester. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties, ensuring that they are maintained to a high standard and that tenants are satisfied with their living conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, including conducting property inspections, negotiating tenancy extensions and renewals, and coordinating with contractors to manage maintenance and repair issues.
  • Ensure that properties meet all regulatory health and safety standards and complete all check-in and check-out procedures, including full inventory reports.
  • Resolve rental arrears and process eviction requests in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants, landlords, and other stakeholders, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the lettings team to ensure a smooth and efficient lettings process.

Requirements

  • A full UK driving license for a manual vehicle.
  • Previous experience in a property management or lettings role, or a customer-facing and/or administrative role if no prior property management history.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • IT skills, including proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
