Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supplier development and quality assurance, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supplier development strategies to ensure high-quality products and services
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement process improvements and value enhancement opportunities
  • Assist in the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks
  • Support the Product Introduction Management process to ensure that the supplier chain can meet the required standards
  • Develop and deliver training programs to internal and external stakeholders on quality assurance tools and techniques
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in supplier development and quality assurance
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and experience of supplier development techniques and quality assurance principles
  • Proven history of working in the defence or automotive industry with a focus on supply chain management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify areas for improvement
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions
