Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and risk management to ensure effective care planning and delivery.
- Provide expert support and education to service users, carers, and colleagues to promote mental health awareness and understanding.
- Facilitate referrals to appropriate services, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Develop and deliver therapeutic groups, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our service users.
- Attend integrated care team meetings to contribute to the development of mental health services and ensure alignment with trust objectives.
- Participate in clinical supervision and adhere to evidence-based practices to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Drive when necessary, ensuring timely and efficient travel to service user locations.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Mental Health with a strong track record of experience in community mental health services.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in mental health care.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of clinical governance and safeguarding principles, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care.
Desirable:
- Relevant training in teaching, clinical supervision, or leadership, enhancing your ability to mentor and support colleagues.
- Experience in leadership or management, enabling you to contribute to the development of mental health services and drive positive change.
