Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Engineer to join our operations team. As a Critical Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining critical facilities infrastructure as part of a close-knit team delivering best-in-class service to our data center customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site inspections and monitor building and IBX alarms
  • Ensure preventative maintenance on site infrastructure is run or handled by vendors with your oversight
  • Maintain repairs and run corrective maintenance on equipment
  • Prepare and carry out planned maintenance
  • Complete site logs and data gathering for permits, such as MOPs and scripts
  • Assist more senior staff with responding to all on-site incidents and act as directed
  • Participate in ongoing infrastructure projects

Qualifications

  • ONC/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous critical environment experience
  • Good knowledge of critical infrastructure, including UPS, generator, BMS, chillers, and life safety systems
