Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Retail Protection Pricing team in a dynamic and competitive environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and pricing new and existing products, providing pricing expertise, and supporting the development of new pricing concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize market share and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze market rates to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing solutions.
  • Support the development of new products and services, including commercial deals and pricing innovations.
  • Develop and maintain data and models used in price optimization.
  • Present performance data to senior management to inform decision-making.
  • Improve current processes through the use of data analytics.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support pricing procedures, analyses, decisions, processes, and controls.

Requirements

  • Student actuary or data scientist with a strong understanding of pricing and analytics.
  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial pricing and/or life insurance capacity.
  • Strong IT and programming skills, with experience in Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Prophet or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and recommend ideas.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
