Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Technical Trainer to join our team. This role is primarily remote, with training sessions conducted on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Technical Trainer, you will:

  • Engage with clients across our value chain, delivering various forms of technical training and support, including system compliance and reporting.
  • Conduct practical demonstrations of our products and provide high-quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions to industry professionals.
  • Promote Knauf products and the Knauf Technical Academy through effective communication channels, including presentations and compliance inspections.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as R&D, Marketing, and Manufacturing, leveraging your industry knowledge to support their initiatives.
  • Assist in trade events and training sessions, ensuring compliance reports are completed during site visits.
  • Inspire our customers through exceptional teaching and facilitate constructive discussions on how to best support their needs.
  • Develop and manage new CPD courses and training programs to address skill gaps and enhance industry knowledge.
  • Maintain training schedules and manage bookings for CPD sessions and toolbox talks in alignment with key performance indicators.
  • Stay updated with relevant standards and building regulations.
  • Support the case management process by investigating issues and providing feedback to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to product testing at independent laboratories, offering necessary insights to ensure product success.
  • Utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for storing site reports and capturing project data.
  • Drive continuous improvements within the External Technical Team and the broader Technical Team.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in the drywall or construction sector.
  • Relevant training certifications such as Petals or AET.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Proficiency in IT and digital platforms, including Microsoft applications.
  • Strong organizational skills for effective diary management.
