Your responsibilities:

  • Report to the Working Supervisor regarding site operations, compliance, and efficiency at the wastewater facility.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot processes and assets, assisting the team in resolving operational challenges.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with external contractors, providing onsite support for maintenance activities.
  • Offer feedback and support to senior maintenance and operations team members.
  • Conduct site sampling and analysis.
  • Enhance your knowledge of the Seafield Sludge Treatment Centre operations, including dewatering and gas production.
  • Gain insights into the Seafield Wastewater Treatment Works operations, covering various treatment processes.

While training will be provided for those lacking experience, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Experience in managing operational processes and assets, preferably in wastewater.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Health and Safety awareness or qualifications.
  • Familiarity with Permit to Work systems.
  • Understanding of Risk Assessments.
