About the Company: Become a part of the John Lewis Partnership as a Product Safety Manager within the Quality & Regulatory and Technical team. This pivotal role positions you as the go-to expert on product safety and microbiology in a commercial environment. You will collaborate with diverse teams to ensure adherence to safety standards and achieve collective objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and resolve existing challenges to maintain brand integrity
- Lead initiatives focused on product safety and ensure compliance across the business
- Promote food safety and authenticity initiatives
- Oversee and revise the Food Safety Policy
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing food safety incidents
- Specialized training in areas such as allergens and microbiology
Desirable Skills:
- Formal qualification in Food Science or Microbiology
- Commercial acumen and capability to train technical teams
- Experience in manufacturing is advantageous
