Lead Research Scientist - Biologics Innovation

Your Contribution

We are in search of a Lead Research Scientist specializing in biologics-driven drug development to leverage our platform's capabilities in crafting macromolecule-based therapies. This is a remarkable opportunity for a proactive leader to influence the future of generative de novo antibody and protein therapeutic design.

Your expertise in biologics, along with robust industry connections, will be vital in fostering and sustaining partnerships with key stakeholders to implement our platform for the creation of innovative biological treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, nurture, and guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver a premier AI/ML-driven biologics design platform.
  • Collaborate with Isomorphic Labs' business development and executive teams to forge and execute partnerships and integrative strategies for biologics-based therapies.
  • Oversee the comprehensive leadership of Isomorphic Labs' biologics initiatives, working efficiently with essential internal and external collaborators to ensure that biologic drug discovery program milestones and objectives are achieved within set timelines and budgets.
  • Manage and execute biologics internal portfolio and collaborative projects.
Qualifications and SkillsEssential:
  • PhD or equivalent experience in oncology, immunology, or other pertinent life sciences research.
  • Proven track record in leading comprehensive biologics discovery initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in applying machine learning techniques for biologics design.
  • Familiarity with key stage-gate exit criteria for portfolio programs.
  • Experience in managing project timelines and presenting data at governance and leadership meetings.
  • Proficient in managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in overseeing external collaborations, including academic and CRO interactions for therapeutic antibody development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in developing de novo biologics design platforms.
  • Project experience across various biologics platforms.
  • Experience in drug targeting development, such as ADCs and functional therapeutic antibodies.
  • Experience in budget management.
