Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Scientist to join our Structural Biology of Cell Signalling Team at The Institute of Cancer Research. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and laboratory management tasks, with a focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms of Wnt/beta-catenin signalling and telomere maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in biochemistry, biophysics, and/or structural biology, with a focus on X-ray crystallography or cryo-electron microscopy.
  • Manage laboratory operations, including supervising junior staff and coordinating research projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve research goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement new research techniques and methods.
  • Present research findings at internal and external meetings and conferences.
Requirements
  • PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in research and laboratory management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
