Role Summary:
This entry-level opportunity is tailored for individuals who have recently advanced from an assistant position and are prepared to embrace greater responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our team, you will focus on:

  • Cost Management:
    - Aid in the development of cost estimates, budgets, and financial documentation for various projects.
    - Conduct site inspections to assess and value completed work, ensuring precise recording of all project expenses.
    - Support the procurement of materials and subcontractors, guaranteeing optimal value while upholding quality standards.
  • Contract Administration:
    - Manage contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions, and addressing any contractual challenges that may arise.
  • Site Monitoring:
    - Regularly visit project locations to oversee progress, evaluate work quality, and communicate with site managers and clients.
  • Financial Oversight:
    - Track project costs and advancement, identifying and mitigating any financial risks or inconsistencies.
    - Prepare periodic reports for senior management, offering insights into the financial status and forecasts of projects.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, with a solid grasp of groundworks and site construction.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in cost management software and the MS Office suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to various sites as needed.
- A valid UK driving license is mandatory.
