Our client, a leading blue-chip company, is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join their dynamic HR department. The ideal candidate will possess a CIPD Level 3 qualification and a hands-on approach to providing a comprehensive and professional HR service to all employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, from pre-employment to termination, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance with UK legislative changes
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies, procedures, and handbooks
  • Monitor staff wellbeing, attendance, and productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance
  • Support the HR Manager and HR Senior Specialist in disciplinary processes, including investigation paperwork and attendance at investigation meetings
  • Collaborate with occupational health and medical practitioners to provide welfare visits and support to employees
  • Assist with escalated disciplinary processes and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with UK legislative changes, monitoring procedures and processes to ensure compliance
  • Contribute to the administration of payroll information, including monthly reporting of absence analysis, headcount, starter and leaver information, and temporary costings
  • Ensure Health & Safety supplies, equipment, and documentation are available, recording and investigating any accidents or near misses
