Join Our Team as a Group Financial Accountant

Greenwell Gleeson is a leading recruitment agency, and we are excited to partner with a prominent manufacturing and distribution business to find a highly skilled Group Financial Accountant. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global organization, contributing to the success of their financial reporting team.

The Role:
  • Assist the Director of Financial Reporting in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Group consolidation in HFM, a leading financial management system.
  • Play a lead role in the administration of the Group's portfolio of leases under IFRS16, utilizing established lease software for efficient reconciliation.
  • Monitor all intercompany accounts, both profit and loss and balance sheet, identifying discrepancies and following up on necessary actions.
  • Manage the accounts of various holding companies, including monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of local GAAP statutory accounts when required.
  • Support the Director of Financial Reporting in the year-end process, reviewing subsidiary submissions, preparing disclosure notes, and providing analysis to the external audit team.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of global financial processes, updating Group procedures as necessary.
  • Build strong relationships with finance teams across the globe, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate has ACA qualification and experience in big four or top 10 audit firms.
  • Proven expertise in general accounting, financial statement preparation, consolidations, monthly close processes, and cash flow reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and high system literacy.
