Job Title: Principal Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Civils team as part of a successful multi-discipline consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be based out of our Birmingham office and play a crucial role in the growth of our Infrastructure Design expertise in Birmingham and across the wider business and UK regions.

The Role:

As a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, you will work closely with our Infrastructure Team to support the production of engineering designs for planning applications, detailed designs, and construction of drainage, highways, SUDS, and building drainage for major infrastructure and residential, retail, industrial, and commercial developments.

You will be responsible for the production of drainage and levels strategies in support of planning applications (including flood risk assessment reports), as well as producing and issuing technical drawings for tender.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production of drainage and levels strategies for planning applications
  • Production of technical drawings for tender and construction purposes
  • Experience in the production of technical drawings for tender and construction purposes for a variety of infrastructure projects
  • Drainage strategies and flood risk assessment
Requirements:
  • Consultancy/private sector development background with experience working on residential development
  • Personable and a strong team player with a people-oriented approach and confident bringing new ideas into the Practice
  • Experience in the production of technical drawings for tender and construction purposes for a variety of infrastructure projects
