About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join our Development Team in Birmingham, focusing on civil engineering for development infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will lead and produce designs and drawings for construction projects, deliver technical reports for masterplanning, and support planning applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and produce designs and drawings for construction projects
  • Deliver technical reports for masterplanning and support planning applications
  • Work with clients at a local and national level to deliver projects
  • Assist in the preparation of fee proposals and business development activities
  • Help maintain a positive working environment in the team
Requirements
  • Preferably a Civil Engineering degree and either be Chartered or approaching Chartered status
  • Strong post graduate experience in a civil engineering working environment
  • Ability to produce masterplans, site appraisals, and write reports to support planning applications
  • Solid engineering foundation and understanding of highway design and highway drainage principles
  • Experience in using Civils 3D or PDS (or similar software packages)
