Job Overview

Scantec Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our client's Asset Management department. This exciting opportunity involves managing and executing Class I & II Capex projects, contributing to the construction and modification of physical assets at their terminals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute technical projects assigned by the Asset Manager, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety, quality, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare project details, scope engineering documents, and cost estimates, utilizing expertise in mechanical engineering, EIA, civil, or related fields.
  • Commission and close projects, ensuring accurate as-built files and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead change processes for project scope adjustments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Provide technical and management support on multi-disciplinary engineering works, leveraging proficiency in MS Office and planning software.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, EIA, Civil, or a related field, with a proven track record in project engineering/management.
  • Fluency in English and local terminal language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and planning software, such as MS Projects, Oracle Primavera, and Autocad.
