About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Midwife to join our Community Midwifery team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Community Midwife, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional maternity care to women and families in a range of community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a dedicated team of Community Midwives to provide high-quality maternity care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with women and families to ensure personalized care
  • Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in on-call shifts and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community-based maternity services

Person Specification

  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration
  • Sound knowledge of recent Government/Professional documents and their implications for service provision
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
