About the Role

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated midwife to join our team in a rotational position. As a rotational midwife, you will have the opportunity to work in various clinical areas within the acute unit, enhancing your skills and knowledge in all aspects of maternity care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality maternity care to patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring individualized and evidence-based practice.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Registered Midwife (RM) with eligibility to practice.
  • Sound knowledge of recent Government/Professional documents and awareness of implications to service provision.
  • Able to demonstrate motivation to maintain professional development and adapt to changing healthcare environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
