Job Summary:

Finatal is seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Manager to join their London office. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth agenda through strategic acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire acquisition process, from initial evaluation to due diligence and deal closure.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, investors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful deal execution.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and investment team to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets.
  • Conduct thorough financial and commercial due diligence to ensure strategic fit and alignment with the company's growth objectives.
  • Develop and present investment committee papers to support key decision-making.
  • Oversee the transition of acquired businesses, ensuring a seamless integration into the company's operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a strong track record of deal execution.
  • ACA / ACCA / CA qualification or prior in-house M&A experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to assess the strategic fit of acquisitions.
  • Experience in the lower-mid or mid-market is highly desirable.
