Facilities Maintenance Supervisor


Our client, a leader in waste, water, and energy management services, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee their operations.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate daily activities within the maintenance division.

This encompasses ensuring timely task completion, overseeing corrective maintenance operations, and optimizing the management of breakdowns (reactive maintenance).

Take charge of the maintenance budget and associated costs.
Ensure effective management of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Maintain a well-organized inventory of spare parts.
Be fully accountable for the health and safety of the maintenance team and all related activities.
Guarantee legal compliance at all times concerning the responsibilities of the role.
Oversee a team of approximately 10 maintenance personnel, including technicians, fitters, graduates, and apprentices.
Uphold high standards of staff performance, work quality, and accountability through effective coaching, training, and development.

Collaborate with other departments to foster robust communication and enhance operational efficiency, while also encouraging innovative problem-solving.

Develop and maintain a network of reliable engineering contractors that provide value for money, addressing all equipment and asset maintenance requirements.

Lead significant asset improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operations and safety across the facility.

Engage with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, technical teams, equipment manufacturers, and industry experts.

Qualifications:

- Degree or Master's qualification in a relevant field with applicable experience
- Prior experience in a comparable role
- Strong prioritization skills in a dynamic environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
- Excellent relationship-building capabilities with stakeholders
- Outstanding organizational skills

- Ability to take initiative and act independently without relying on direction from others.


Compensation:
Salary: £55,000 plus company vehicle or £550 monthly car allowance, up to 20% bonus, private medical coverage, and pension plan.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
