About the ServiceThe Tullideph Housing Support/Care at Home Services provides assistance to seven adults in their own residences. Each individual has unique and complex needs, including, but not limited to, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, hearing impairment, learning disabilities, diabetes, and epilepsy. We recognize each person as a unique individual and strive to deliver services that cater to their interests, aspirations, health requirements, and overall wellbeing.
Support is provided in all aspects of their lives, both at home and within the community. Our teams facilitate a variety of activities, hobbies, and interests through positive risk-taking and a proactive approach. Promoting independence and a diverse, healthy lifestyle is a consistent objective for each individual we serve.
The service you would be part of is dynamic, busy, and occasionally challenging, offering significant rewards in terms of personal and professional growth. This role provides a genuine opportunity to make a positive impact.
On a daily basis, you will:
- Encourage independence, individuality, and the achievement of personal goals, with the voices of those we support at the forefront of your efforts.
- Assist with various tasks including personal care, household chores, medication administration, and meal preparation.
- Plan, participate in, and engage in meaningful activities both at home and in the community, such as art, music, travel, yoga, volunteering, swimming, and sensory experiences.
- Collaborate with your team and others to review and ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily records.

No prior experience is necessary; we value your principles, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn. The necessary skills will be provided through our training programs.
Shift patterns vary, with start and end times ranging from 8 AM to 10 PM, including early, late, mid, night shifts, and sleepovers. Shifts may involve both lone working and 2:1 support, allowing you to build consistent and trusting relationships with the individuals you support.
