Job Summary:
We are seeking a Deputy Ward Manager to join our team in the Low Secure Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating mental health services, leading rehabilitation programs, and ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate mental health services and treatment programs for patients in the Low Secure Division.
- Lead and manage rehabilitation programs, ensuring patients receive the support and care they need to recover.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote patient recovery, reintegration, and community engagement.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in mental health services, preferably in a secure or low-secure setting.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
