The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to maintenance and repair requests, including fixing leaks, plumbing, electrical faults, door locks, and other technical issues.
  • Liaising with external contractors to complete works and projects.
  • Performing regular building checks and inspections, including safety walks.
  • Painting, decorating, and refurbishing the venue to maintain its high standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a catering venue or restaurant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external contractors.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work methodically and meticulously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively, while remaining calm under pressure.
  • General knowledge of carpentry, joinery, basic electrics, and plumbing.
  • Experience of painting and decorating.
  • Understanding of fire safety and health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work various shifts on a rota basis, including weekends and late nights.
