Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for providing a proactive and reactive maintenance service to the entire hotel, under the guidance of the Director of Engineering and the Chief Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the water supply system, associated pumps, and controls, in accordance with local water bylaws and regulations.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities in all areas of the hotel, including guest bedrooms, public areas, and main plant/machinery.
  • Conduct regular testing and inspections of hotel water distribution and drainage systems.
  • Perform statutory cleaning and disinfection of guestroom and public area showerheads and spray attachments to prevent legionnaires disease.
  • Protect hotel assets, including uniform and company tools issued.
  • Be conversant with maintenance department policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the engineering shift rota pattern and emergency attendance call-out facility.
  • Comply with current relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a Technical Services or similar environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, listening, and writing.
  • Innovative and proactive approach.
  • Able to work alone and within a team.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Good level of English essential.
  • Technical Engineering qualification preferred.
