Plant Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer / Plant Mechanic to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our engineering and manufacturing company, you will be responsible for carrying out safety critical repairs, modifications, and maintenance to road/rail excavators and equipment used within the rail industry.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment, including modifications and upgrades.
- Conduct diagnostics testing and evaluate information to interpret technical data.
- Assemble and test new build machinery, ensuring it meets the required standards.
- Provide support in special projects and scheduled servicing of vehicles and plant.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to assist in the ongoing production of new and innovative machinery.
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in an engineering trade.
- PTS Certification (desirable).
- Road/Rail maintenance competency certificate (desirable).
- Forklift truck driving (desirable).
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime available.
