Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer / Plant Mechanic to join our team at a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Blackpool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out safety critical repairs, modifications, and maintenance to road/rail excavators and equipment used within the rail industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment, including modifications and upgrades.
  2. Assist in the ongoing manufacture of new and innovative machinery.
  3. Conduct diagnostics testing and evaluate information to interpret technical data.
  4. Assemble and test new build machinery.
  5. Provide support in special projects and scheduled servicing of vehicles and plant.
Required Qualifications
  1. NVQ 3 or equivalent in engineering trade.
  2. PTS Certification (desirable).
  3. Road/Rail maintenance competency certificate (desirable).
  4. Forklift truck driving (desirable).

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum + Overtime

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime available.
