We are seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner Lead to join our team at Xander Medical. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for the operational management of our theatres, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the initial set up of the theatre department prior to opening, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place.
- Proactively ensure theatre readiness by liaising with relevant support office teams.
- Implement and maintain a consistent approach to infection prevention, resuscitation, and medication management.
- Provide professional and clinical leadership and management for a mixed skillset theatre team.
- Coordinate the operational management of the theatre on a day-to-day basis.
- Hold a current Nursing or Operating Department Practice degree or diploma.
- Be registered with the NMC or HCPC.
- Have previous and recent extensive ophthalmic scrub experience.
- Be comfortable with Microsoft Office products and using computerised systems for data input/output and review.
