About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team at the RSK Group. As a key member of our Geology division, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the field of ground investigation and environmental engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage large-scale ground investigation projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee and supervise site-based activities, including drillers, engineers, and other personnel, to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to junior team members on soil and rock logging, in accordance with industry standards.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Foster a culture of HSE excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, clients, and suppliers.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and success.
Requirements
  • BSc in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing ground investigation contracts from start to finish.
  • Expertise in soil and rock logging, in accordance with industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, with varying hours and travel requirements.
  • Valid UK driving license and unrestricted work rights in the UK.
