About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Orchid Ward team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to older adults with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to patients, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients, addressing their concerns and needs in a sensitive and empathetic manner.
  • Supervise and coach junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes and experience.
Requirements
  • Good general education qualifications, including English and Maths at GCSE grade C or equivalent.
  • IT literate and proficient in using electronic patient records.
  • Previous experience working as a Band 2 Support Worker in a mental health acute care setting.
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and maintain a calm and composed demeanor.
