The Care and Support Worker plays a vital role in our organization, providing essential support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, and provide support with medication administration to ensure the comfort and well-being of service users.
- Domestic Support: Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry, and maintain a safe and supportive living environment.
- Community Support: Accompany service users on outings and activities, support service users in accessing community resources, and promote social inclusion and independence.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and encouragement to service users, listen to and validate service user concerns, and help service users develop coping strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user care, complete necessary documentation, including incident reports and care plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2)
- Experience working with individuals with support needs (Min. 6 months)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing high-quality care
