About the Role

The Care and Support Worker plays a vital role in our organization, providing essential support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, and provide support with medication administration to ensure the comfort and well-being of service users.
  • Domestic Support: Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry, and maintain a safe and supportive living environment.
  • Community Support: Accompany service users on outings and activities, support service users in accessing community resources, and promote social inclusion and independence.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and encouragement to service users, listen to and validate service user concerns, and help service users develop coping strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service user care, complete necessary documentation, including incident reports and care plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2)
  • Experience working with individuals with support needs (Min. 6 months)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care
