Commercial Analyst Role

VanRath is seeking a skilled Commercial Analyst to join an innovative utility provider in Belfast. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing operational and commercial arrangements that meet regulatory obligations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of transportation arrangements arising from modifications to the contractual and legislative framework.
  • Conduct research into current and future market arrangements domestically and internationally.
  • Analyze and improve specified business processes.
  • Support the development of market arrangements related to the Energy Transition, including the injection and transportation of renewable gas into the NI Network.
  • Collaborate with UK and European gas operators to determine potential impacts on the NI Gas Market.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant regulatory obligations and gas industry standards.
  • Prepare reports, papers, and presentations.
  • Engage in relevant consultation processes.
Requirements
  • Relevant 3rd-level qualification with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and formulate cogent views.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey messages clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in Excel essential.
