Job Title: Associate Director/Senior Project Manager

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Associate Director/Senior Project Manager to join our UK Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering major multi-disciplinary projects from concept to construction, working on our expanding portfolio of large and complex projects across various market sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the successful delivery of projects to agreed targets, including programme, budget, and quality.
  • Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing project team, ensuring effective communication and coordination with clients and stakeholders.
  • Agree commercial trading arrangements and develop a communication plan for working with other teams, including issuing task orders and purchase orders.
  • Assemble and own the project delivery programme and delivery plans, protecting AtkinsRéalis' commercial interests, including timely and accurate invoicing and effective credit control.
  • Closing out projects on completion, archiving project documentation, and ensuring lessons learned are captured and disseminated internally.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer/Architect or equivalent with experience managing design, build, and/or operate commissions on large infrastructure projects.
  • Market sector experience across a range of Water Infrastructure, Rail, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Urban Development projects.
  • Understanding and experience in deploying various forms of construction contracts, particularly NEC3 or 4.
  • Experience managing design projects to time, cost, and quality objectives, familiar with programming and earned value techniques.
  • Familiarity with BIM and 3D modelling tools for design and coordination purposes.
