About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Real Estate team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading Project Management Commissions and acting as the primary client interface.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Management Commissions, ensuring end-to-end service delivery and meeting client objectives.
  • Act as the key client interface, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Scope of the Role

Senior Project Managers will handle commissions of varying scale and value, up to £40m in value. The role will involve advising at a strategic level, leading project governance, and managing quality, safety, health, and environment issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on strategic approaches to achieve client objectives.
  • Establishing project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Planning and managing quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  • Establishing effective project governance and processes.
  • Project planning, including producing detailed project plans.
  • Advising on resource procurement.
  • Leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
  • Managing change control processes.
  • Monitoring and advising on project finances.
  • Managing project information flow between the team and client.
  • Ensuring production of formal project progress reports.
  • Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages.

Business Development and Marketing

  • Developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Identifying and acting on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Working with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
  • Attending client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.
  • Ensuring project case study, photograph, and project CV files are up to date.
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve project management products and services.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
