About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Healthcare Support Worker to join our Endoscopy Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of endoscopic equipment and decontamination procedures
  • Support clinical staff in the delivery of patient care, including preparing patients for procedures and providing post-procedure care
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to Trust policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
Person Specification
  • NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 2 or equivalent qualification in healthcare
  • GCSE English and maths grade G/1 (or above) or Functional Skills English and maths level 1
  • Completion of the Care Certificate (or willingness to undertake)
  • Minimum of 1 year full-time equivalent experience as a Healthcare Support Worker or Trainee in a care setting
