Job Title: Communications Manager

At Gist, we're seeking a skilled Communications Manager to join our People, Safety, and Culture Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in leading communications activities across our channels, ensuring they're effective, engaging, and project our culture and business values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan in partnership with internal functions and business units to deliver an engaging and relevant communication calendar.
  • Manage the communication plan, ensuring it aligns with Gist's vision, values, and objectives, and brand guidelines.
  • Support the communications coordinator and design approach in line with Gist's brand guidelines.
  • Plan communication projects for business programs to ensure good understanding and engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Implement a clear and consistent brand for Gist sites through signage, distribution of communications, and other branded materials.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in communications, with a focus on leading communication plan development and implementation with senior stakeholders.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud training and/or 1+ years' experience in the software suite.
  • Excellent digital content experience across social media, website, and intranet.
  • Experience in video editing, digital signage, intranet management, and stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the business.
  • Social media training and/or experience.
