About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at Gist. As a key member of our People, Safety and Culture Team, you will play a vital role in leading Communications activities across our channels, ensuring they are effective, engaging, and project our culture and business values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create communications materials using specialist software tools, including the Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, and web authoring tools.
  • Manage the communication plan in partnership with internal functions and business units to deliver an engaging and relevant communication calendar.
  • Support the communications coordinator and design approach in line with the Gist brand guidelines.
  • Plan communication projects for business programmes to ensure good understanding and engagement with key stakeholders in line with Gist's vision, values, and objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Implement a clear and consistent brand for Gist sites through signage, distribution of communications, and other branded materials.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in communications.
  • Leading communication plan development and implementation with senior stakeholders.
  • Adobe creative cloud training and/or 1+ years' experience in the software suite.
  • Excellent digital content experience across social media, website, and intranet.
  • Experience in video editing, digital signage, intranet management.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing communications campaigns.
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to engage with all levels of the business.
  • Social media training and/or experience.
