Are you looking for a challenging role in a dynamic IT Support team? Big Red Recruitment is seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join our client, a major UK retailer, in their Application Support department.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company undergoing significant technology changes. As an Application Support Analyst, you will be part of a close-knit team, working collaboratively with helpdesk and application support analysts to ensure smooth operation and problem resolution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating and analysing application support incidents to identify root causes
  • Collaborating with the development team to resolve issues and implement improvements
  • Providing 2nd line support for IT applications, including bespoke and off-the-shelf systems
  • Liaising effectively with software developers, helpdesk support, and other business stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience working with IBM RPG, i-series, EPOS, and MQ technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Windows, Client Access Support, Confluence, and Jira
  • Experience providing 2nd line (or higher) support for IT applications

Salary: up to £35,000 depending on experience

Location: Solihull - 1 to 2 days a week in the office
