About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our Natural Resources & New Energies team, you will be responsible for delivering effective project controls services to our clients across diverse and complex programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-discipline teams of project controls professionals to deliver project controls services.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project controls processes to create efficiency and increase benefits to our clients.
  • Define and implement project controls approaches across the project, programme, and portfolio levels.
  • Develop and implement effective governance and assurance processes around project controls products.
  • Work with clients to develop relevant breakdown structures and support scope definitions.
  • Define scaled, tailored, and integrated approaches for project controls and document these.
  • Manage the scope through the identification and management of exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies.
  • Work with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, accurate Performance Measurement Baseline and manage the change control process.
  • Collaborate with Project and Commercial Management to establish supplier project controls contract requirements.
  • Ensure scope, cost, risk, and schedule integration and alignment.
  • Train and coach clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.
  • Assure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the Project Controls team's output.
  • Undertake line management activities, including career development and performance management.
Requirements
  • Experience in applying several project controls disciplines in multiple projects.
  • Practical experience of integrating project controls disciplines and assessing team maturity.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders and using project controls software.
