EKFB is seeking a highly skilled Sub Agent to join our team in the Brackley area. As a Sub Agent, you will play a crucial role in the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings, method statements, environmental and quality plans, construction programmes, procurement, and design deliverable schedules.
You will be responsible for liaising with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works to carry out activities to the required standards, programme, and budget. Additionally, you will manage the site engineering team and be responsible for the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
Key responsibilities include coordinating construction operations, ensuring they conform to contract requirements and the required level of safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ). You will also assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations, and cost control.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to hold a HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent. You must also have experience of working on Highways/Utilities and hold the following competencies: SMSTS and CSCS White; White-Yellow; Red - Experienced; Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor. A Driving License and access to a vehicle are also essential.
